Audible Only Alarm Systems:
When this type of System is activated an Internal Sounder is triggered to alert authorised occupants of an intruder and an external high level sounder with flashing strobe is also triggered to inform the burglar they have been detected and make them leave, hopefully empty handed. To improve the overall visual deterrent of your system and make potential intruders aware you have a professional TAP Security System installed, all our Intruder Alarms are complemented with an external illuminated Delta Sounder displaying the company logo which is highly visible in the dark. A number of sensors will be positioned within the property / site, maybe at the windows and doors or in high target areas. When the system is armed, either by a code, card or tag, the sensors will be monitored by the main Alarm Panel triggering the sounders should anyone walk into their path.
Monitored Alarm Systems:
Our range of DD243 compliant Monitored Alarm systems have all the features of our Audible range with addition of 24 hour monitoring normally via a signalling path such as BT RED CARE , DualCom ® or over an existing phone line via a Digital Communicator. To ensure continued connection to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), systems requiring a monitored signal path send regular test calls to confirm the integrity of the line whilst digital communicators send one every 24 hours.
When the Alarm system is activated either an onboard or standalone unit automatically rings the ARC. If staff at the ARC see two or more different devices (that is two or more sensors in the premises) or receive a signal in relation to a Hold-up Alarm button then they can take the relevant action, which will include alerting the Police to the incident.
To ensure complete peace of mind for our customers we also use the latest technology to remotely service and make requested programming changes to your Alarm System. There is often no need for an engineer to visit site and adjustments can be made to your system online from our head office at Thorp Arch.
As with all our systems they are chosen for there ease of use, reliability and design features whilst complementing the surrounding décor. We will ensure you fully understand the uses and features of your Alarm System and provide you with 24 hour technical support and Engineer emergency call out should the need arise.
